Wir hatten zuvor berichtet, dass eines unserer Mitglieder Hospitalitytickets in Manchester gekauft hat und mit Oberrangkarten, Essens- und Getränkegutscheinen abgespeist wurde.

Nun haben wir die erfreuliche Rückmeldung bekommen, dass Manchester City eine Rückerstattung des Betrags auf Basis des sehr netten, höflichen und unkomplizierten E-Mail-Kontakts beauftragt hat. Nachfolgend stellen wir euch eine leicht abgewandelte Form der E-Mail zur Verfügung, die nach England gesendet wurde. Da sowohl die Anzahl eurer gekauften Tickets als auch die Anzahl der Getränkegutscheine (wir wissen bisher von entweder einem oder zwei ausgegebenen Gutscheinen pro Person) abweichen, verweisen wir euch kurz darauf, dass ihr die Mail nicht direkt abschicken solltet, sondern auch bearbeiten müsst. Außerdem sollte sich nur der Besteller der Tickets an den Heimverein wenden.

Dear Sir or Madam,

Thrilled for the match of Manchester City against Schalke 04 on March 12, 2019 I have bought tickets for me and for xxx friends of mine in the Commonwealth bar, as we wanted to attend the propably last international matchup of Schalke in a decent atmosphere and close to the pitch, especially to see those fantastic footballers like Leroy Sané or Sergio Agüero from as close as possible. Furthermore, we wanted to use the special features of hospitality tickets.
For a long time, your club left us unsure, if we will be able to attend the match. About one week before the match, we got a text message from your side telling us the tickets will not be in the desired bar. In the mail the hospitality team sent to me, there was not told, where exactly we would be seated and attend the match. When we finally picked up the tickets on matchday, we were very disappointed, as we had paid £78 each and now we got £30 ticket and £11 voucher for food as well as yyy voucher(s) for drinks (each valued £5). Summing up, each of us has still £(78-11-yyy*5) credit and we would like to have the credit refunded by April 3, 2019.
As we are not the only ones encountering this issue, we will contact FC Schalke 04 to get in contact with UEFA to support us to get our refund.
